Medicine and Allied Sciences (Total Marks 100)

  • 2 cases x 35 marks = 70 marks


  • Viva voice (30 marks)

  1. Discussion on investigation techniques and interpretation

  2. Principle of prescribing

  3. Recent advances in diagnostic and therapeutic procedures



SURGICAL SCIENCES (General Surgery, Ortho, ENT, Eye) (25 Marks)

  • 1 Case (25 Marks)


MATERNAL AND CHILD HEALTH (Total Marks 75)

  • 2 Cases x 20 marks = 40 marks


  • Viva voice (35 marks)

  1. Discussion on investigation techniques and interpretation

  2. Neonatology

  3. Instruments

  4. Preventive pediatrics



FAMILY PRACTICE & PUBLIC HEALTH VIVA (Total marks 100)

  1. Discussion on National Health Policy, Health Programmes, Health Legislation, etc. (25 Marks)

  2. Discussion on Health Indicators, Community Health Delivery Services, Vital Statistics, Promotive + Preventive Medicine, etc. (25 Marks)

  3. Discussion on Morbidity Pattern, Record Keeping, Family Setup, etc. (25 Marks)

  4. Discussion on Emergencies, Ethics, Referrals, CME, etc. (25 marks)



GRAND TOTAL - 300 MARKS

Candidates scoring 150 or more out of 300 marks will be declared as PASS.
